The cost of the trip is only $90 and must be turned in with all registration materials by June 25.

Summer Calendar

Our Summer Calendar is now out! Be sure to pick one up this week and be in the know of all the great things happening this summer! You can also download a copy at 180students.com/stuff.

Wednesday Discussion Question

This Wednesday, our High School discussion question is about choice. Are our lives predetermined by God? What kind of choices can we make (or not)? Think on those questions. Read the Bible to find what God's word has to say about it!

2. SOMETHING FOR YOUR HEART

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
Galations 5:1

Our job is to follow Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the way." So then, let's follow the way. Following the way gives us both certain freedom and certain burdens to carry. What we aren't allowed to do is to give our burdens to others--to carry for us. We also can't stand up and say, "look, see how I'm doing it? This is what you have to do." We can only say, "This is what Jesus has asked of me. Go and ask him what he wants of you." God said, "Make followers of me," not "Make followers of you."

Oz (Oswald Chambers) says:
Always keep your life measured by the standards of Jesus. Bow your neck to His yoke alone, and to no other yoke whatever; and be careful to see that you never bind a yoke on others that is not placed by Jesus Christ. It takes God a long time to get us out of the way of thinking that unless everyone sess us as we do, they must be wrong.

Just between you and God:
Ask God for strength and humility. You will need the strength to carry what he wants you to carry. You will need the humility so you don't become proud when you succeed. Ask for both in equal amounts.

WELCOME TO LIFE
No one ever said it was gonna be easy. The reality is you're going to meet up with some disappointments, lies, betrayal, and pain... and that's all before lunch.

Bad news, choices, or random bad luck can throw even the strongest person into a spiral of doubts and hard questions.

The good news is--you're not alone.
In "True Vol.1" you will meet some people who are on the same the journey as you, who've experienced some of the same struggles that you have--and a few people who are still struggling. People who can honestly say, "I've been there."

Order book here.

Also available in your local Christian bookstore.
